The penguin plant in Antwerp has a water pool with a volume of around 140 m3. The animals can stay on a side-path of around 12 m length and around 2 - 3 m width. Everyday ice is poured on to this side-path, to obtain the most natural surrounding.

There are about 20 penguins in this construction.
